Created Fall 2016
During the Fall semester of my Senior year, we were challenged with the task of observing and documenting a public place in our environment. For this assignment, I chose to document the North Truro Air Force Base in Truro, Massachusetts. The way we showcased our documentation was very open, and as a result, I wanted to create something less conventional than the average graphic design project.
I documented the air force base through the use of photography, and through found objects. I then took those photographs, and printed them out, and took the found objects and turned them into frames for the photos. I then took those framed photographs, and displayed them in an abandoned building on the base for a month. In order to give my class and instructor an understanding of my project, I then made a short film of the NTAFB, and the gallery I set up.
